CH Bojana von der Ilseaue NAIII "Jana"

Drake was whelped at Buffalo Creek Kennels by Belinda Delaby. As soon as Belinda posted Janos to Facebook, Tyler said he needed a Wirehaired Vizsla. Belinda put us in contact with Chrissy Daniels, whom we co-own Jana with. Unhappy with the  breeding stock in the States at the time, we patiently waited for the perfect girl overseas. Jana made her transatlantic flight around 4 months old and had us wrapped around her finger. The Wirehaired Vizsla is a descendent of the Vizsla and the German Wirehaired Pointer. After seeing the drive of a family friends Vizslas, Chelsea swore she would never own one. It made no sense to her as two how you can breed two high drive dogs and get the temperament the Wirehaired Vizsla promised. Chelsea believes that there is an inverse relationship between obedience and intelligence. Our lab was obedient. He did what we asked. The GWPs are intelligent; they know what you are asking, but they also have a better idea. Jana is the perfect balance of obedience and intelligence. Her sole purpose in life is to please us. Jana's NA test was a test of true Natural Ability. Due to the timing of Jana's arrival, we had minimal opportunities to prepare her. She is a dream in every way. She travels well, can be trusted in a PT clinic and on the sideline of a soccer field. She is kind and friendly but tunes into her people and does not seek the attention of strangers. It's hard to pick out our favorite quality of Jana. She is a loving, highly emotional intelligent member of the family. She is gentle and caring with our infant. She is feisty and fair with our GWPs. She adapts to all situations. Her drive is a little bit less than the typical Wirehaired Vizsla, but where she lacks in drive she makes up for in biddability with her eagerness to please. Jana will try anything we ask. She started deer tracking in 2025. We are so exited to bring Jana into the whelping box to preserve and advance the breed here in the United States.
