Reece Ripsnorter BCK If Its Close Swing the Bat NAI "Drake"

With  Rylynn we learned so much. So much about breeding, standards, ethics, training methods. Chelsea found Reece Kennels by searching through the AKC marketplace Breeders of Merit. A quick follow of the Reece socials, she saw Truman and knew instantly she needed a son. We waited 2 years before committing the to the Pepper x Truman repeat litter. We had incredible breeder support and prepared well for Drake. At 10 weeks old he was at his first NAVHDA training day. At 5 months old, he scored 110/112 on his Natural Ability Test. At 7 months old he pointed his first wild pheasant. Unfortunately, due to cryptorchidism, Drake was not destined for the show ring, though he stacked like a dream. Drake has his own unique characteristics that makes him a challenging dog to live and work with but that little naughtiness is what Chelsea loves about the Breed. Drake was trained following the West Method. He was force fetched trained at P.S.R. Kennels (Joe Plote). Drake really showed how well he fetched when he picked up the bird that Chelsea dropped when Tyler proposed. Drake enjoys retrieving geese, pointing and retrieving pheasants, swimming and hunting naps.
